About Les Centres d'Accueil Héritage
Les Centres d'Accueil Héritage, CAH, provides services and programs to enhance the quality of life and be a leader in providing long-term care and low-rent housing services for French-speaking adults in Ontario. Through its elderly persons centre, CAH provides adult day programs for seniors, such as a homemaking program and a "Friendly visiting" program. It has health promotion and training programs and provides counselling for caregivers. CAH also provides apartment rentals for seniors including supportive housing for frail elderly and supportive housing for seniors with HIV / AIDS. CAH provides some supportive housing for frail seniors and adults living with HIV/AIDS and a volunteer hospice visiting program and classes and transportation for those travelling to medical appointments.
